About me
I have been editor-in-chief of ELLE Decoration for seven years, I curated the Made by Fire exhibition of Czech glass and porcelain that drew crowds in Brno, Prague and Milan, and I regularly work with both major brands and smaller ones that have the potential to shine — when someone gives them a smart nudge.
I believe exceptional work deserves exceptional care. That's why I connect talented makers with their audiences and do my best to make design accessible to everyone.

What I can do for you
I'll explain how media works, what to watch out for when launching a brand, or which designers are worth investing in. A consultation helps you avoid dead ends.
I'll write an essay, interview, article or a chapter of a book for you. At a quality that won't disappoint, and on time — because I know a deadline is a deadline.
I'll work with you on the concept, assemble the right team and manage production — so you end up with a truly exceptional publication.
I'll take on the exhibition you've been dreaming of, or the art and design collection you want to build — whether for the love of it or as an investment.
I'll interview your guest, recommend the right name to draw an audience, or come to your event and introduce the design scene.
I'll find the right setting for a campaign shoot, video production or event. I have the contacts — and I discover dozens of new interiors every year.
Portfolio
Exhibition / Curation / Moravian Gallery / 2023–2025
The most complex project I have ever been part of. We presented approximately 150 works by both emerging and established makers in glass and porcelain.
The exhibition premiered at the Triennale di Milano, then moved to the Ballgame Hall of Prague Castle during Designblok, and finally settled at the Moravian Gallery in Brno for two years. Around 70,000 people saw it.

Magazine / Lasvit / 2022–present
A curated magazine about culture and brand, with which Lasvit replaced the traditional corporate catalogue. We produce it in English for architects, designers, glass lovers, retailers and Lasvit clients.
Each year we choose a leitmotif and find a patron (1. Privacy & Daniel Libeskind, 2. Marvel & Kengo Kuma, 3. Journey & Claesson Koivisto Rune, 4. Nourishment & Patrik Schumacher). As editor-in-chief, I develop topics, reach out to creatives and coordinate shoots from Prague to Hong Kong.

Book / Commissioned Writing / Initio Arts & Design / 2024
The first publication dedicated to lighting designers from Czechoslovakia and Hungary. Published by the Parisian gallery Initio Arts & Design, it presents more than fifty lamp models, newly discovered historical photographs and compelling stories of ten designers who had barely featured in design publications before.
I wrote profiles of three designers: Helena Frantová, Josef Hůrka and Stanislav Indra. To put the studies together, I carried out detailed research in libraries, interviewed witnesses and consulted with experts — almost nothing had been written about the lives of these makers before.

Design Talk / ELLE Decoration × Designblok / 2025
One example among many. At Designblok 2025 I moderated a discussion about life after design school. Together with three guests we touched on the topic that perhaps worries young makers most — how to talk about your own work, do it systematically and think short, medium and long term.
Jan Plecháč shared his experience building his own brand, Nikola Lörinczová from Píaristé highlighted the key PR points designers tend to overlook, and Veronika Pařízková brought the perspective of someone who works with young talents every day.

Magazine / ELLE Decoration / 2019–present
A quarterly magazine dedicated to interior design, showcasing the wealth of beautiful projects being created in the Czech Republic. Under my editorship it has grown into a respected title in the field — in 2025 it reached the highest number of regular subscribers in its history.
I make sure that "Decor" has room for both the best established makers and talented graduates who will be shaping the Czech — and international — design scene in years to come. We regularly present the EDIDA awards, one of the most important design prizes in the Czech Republic alongside the Czech Grand Design.

Exhibition / UPM × Designblok / 2024
An intervention into the permanent collection of the UPM Art, Life: Art for Life. Alongside baroque clocks you'll find a digital piece by Maxim Velčovský, and among religious objects a variation on a reliquary by František Jungvirt will catch your eye. Together with architects from the studio My dvě, we brought current social themes into this context.
Clothing became a tool of activism, vases expressed the hardships of war and tapestries spoke of social stereotypes. I approached 14 makers from the Czech Republic and abroad, and several pieces were created specifically for the exhibition. Our Garden, made for Designblok, was so well received that UPM extended it by several weeks.

Consultation / Johan Pertl / 2024
I love helping talented makers on their path to (media) recognition. During our consultations I explained to glass designer Johan Pertl how Czech and international media work, what journalists need and what interests advertising departments.
I helped make sure Johan started getting coverage in magazines and industry websites. That potential clients discovered his work. That he could focus fully on what he does best.

Profile Interview / Designblok / 2025
Darkness in a large hall packed with people, a rotating stage at the Výstaviště exhibition grounds and two lit chairs upon it. One for Erwan Bouroullec, global design icon — and one for me. I took on the headline talk of Designblok and interviewed this remarkably warm designer, who works with the world's biggest brands. An incredible experience.

Commissioned Writing / Galleria Barovier&Toso / 2025
I wrote a profile piece on glassmaker Vlastimil Beránek, whose works were exhibited by a Venetian contemporary art gallery belonging to the family of the legendary Murano glass manufacturer.
The text traces the creative development of this distinctive artist from the Vysočina region, a pupil of Stanislav Libenský, and forms part of the exhibition catalogue Stillness in Motion.
